New Training Procedure For Infosys Training

We are getting lot of query about the new training program of the Infosys and if there is any change made in the new training program. So we have come out with the following details about new Infosys training Procedure.
1.Training is same for both CS/IT and NON CS/IT students .From this year onwards there is no long sream and short stream..The training will be of 7 months.

2. CS/IT students will give a test one week after their joining.This test is tough and is not a part of training but if you pass the test you will be awarded a sum of Rs 5000.

3.Their will not be more than one module test per week and this is a huge relief for the new upcomming students.

4.There is some change in the exit policy for IT/CS and Non IT/CS students.This will be explained later in the article.

5.Training is now divided into three stages.Generic,Advanced Generic,Stream.

Training for NON CS/IT Training
1.The first stage is a generic stage. In this stage you will need to learn three subject(a) Programming Fundamentals(PF)(b) Programming Testing(PT)(c) RDBMS

2. There will be two module test for this stage. The one test will consist of 40% PF, 30% PT and 30% for Project.The RDBMS will have separate test.

3.The passing percentage is 65%. if you fail to pass in the test ,there will be re-test and if you fail in that retest also you will be sent back to home for 20 days non-paid leave i.e. you will not be paid for anything for these 20 days.

4.When you will come again, you will be provided again two chances and if you failed in that you will be sent back home.

5. Second stage will be of Advanced Generic phase, it will have following subjects
1) OOP using java and a little of advanced Java,
2) Oracle which include PL-SQL statements,
3) Unix and Software Engg Course after which the trainee needs to take Hands On exam on OOP concepts and Oracle.
After the Hands On exam, theoretical courses like
(1) SDM(Software Developement Methodology),
(2) UXD(User Experience Design),
(3) IQS(Infosys Quality Systems) are taught. After this, the trainee will have an objective exam on the whole of advanced generic inclusive of the theoretical courses on clearing which the trainee will be allocated a stream.

(6) There is no exit policy for Non CS/IT students in this phase.The students who fail in this stage need to retake the test after stream training

(7) Third stage will consist of stream out of following
(a) UNIX(b) JAVA(c) Mainframe,and some other.(d) dot net

Training for CS/IT students
(1) The generic phase will be same but if you fail in the test and retest you will be asked to leave the company.

(2) Here also the syllabus to study is same but you will have to pass the compre.There is also retest for the same.If you fail you will be asked to leave the company.

(3) And then their will be stream training. It has been seen that now there will also be extended training.
Duration of training
1. The generic training will be of 58 days
2. In case the course is of 3-4 days then 1 day is allotted as practice day.
3. Module test are usually on Mondays.
